No signs of pernicious anemia (which my Mom was afraid I might have, as there appears to be a family history of it).
My cholesterol is 220; the high end of the normal zone is 200, so I need to cut back on...well, pretty much everything that I most enjoy eating.
It's amazing the weird things you'll eat when you're watching your diet. Lunch today? The centerpiece was 1/5 of a watermelon. (In other words, slightly less than half of one of those watermelon halves that you buy at the supermarket.) How weird is that?
Fortunately, I'm out of cheese at the moment, so it makes it easy not to give in to tempation...I just won't buy any next time I go shopping.
Did you know that Wheat Thins have saturated fats but Triscuits don't? Who knew?
Now I just need to do the research to figure out what I should and shouldn't be eating, and what the effect of all that tea I drink is (probably nothing).
Ah well...one more thing to put on the research stack, along with Catalyst, Template Toolkit, advanced CSS, Class::DBI, and Apache2. Suddenly I find myself singing the "one of these things is not like the others..." song.
