I saw the phrase above (title of entry) in an article somewhere and now I can't find it. As I recall, it was a link to an article / discussion / thesis / something in which the author stated that, when future historians sit down to write the history of the late 20th century and beyond, they will have a rich and varied tapestry to draw upon—all the posts to blogs, Usenet, Yahoo and Google groups, public email archives, Wikipedia and its brethren, etc.
