Hey all,

I'm looking for recommendations for things I should add to my "High Energy" playlist, which I use to get energized and focused in while working. Here's the (very simple) criteria:

  • It's got to make you want to move.
  • It has to start right off at a high energy level...if it's got more than a couple of seconds of introduction, it doesn't fit.
  • It has to stay "up" throughout.
Here's what's on the list right now:

ArtistSong
AerosmithSame old Song and Dance
Bonnie TylerHolding Out for a Hero
The Charie Daniels BandTexas
"Fais Do Do
"Orange Blossom Special (Live)
Dixie ChicksIf I Fall Your're Going Down With Me
Hazel BlueInsomnia
Hillbilly HellcatsHillbillies on Speed
leah andreoneIt's Alright, It's Ok
Melissa EtheridgeI'm the Only One
MetallicaHolier Than Thou
Sherly CrowHappy (Featuring Keith Richards)
SurvivorEye of the Tiger

Eye of the Tiger doesn't really fit (intro too long) but it gets a bye for nostalgia.  I almost put Lita Ford's "Kiss Me Deadly" on there, but it doesn't really work...it doesn't get my feet tapping.  Which is not to say that I don't like both of these songs, they just don't really fit this list.

Anyway, despite having what I thought was a decent sized music collection, I'm having trouble finding things to add to this list, and I know that many of my friends are fare more musical than I am.  Any ideas?
