They don't actually use the word saser (the sonic equivalent of a laser) in this article, but that's pretty much what it is--using sound waves to burn off a tiny fragment of your brain (~10 mm cu) with real-time MRI scanning for targeting. Cool. And already used with complete success on nine humans.
